Tour de France

Le Tour blew by our village yesterday. We watched from the roadside with village folk. This was stage seven, 197.5 km from Bourg en Bresse to Le Grand Bornand. It went through Seyssel and Frangy, which are what passes for “town” where we live.
That’s presumably Tour leader Fabian Cancellara (Switzerland) wearing the maillot jaune in the third position.
Post-Op: All well

The op went well and I feel fine. I’ll stay here in the hospital until Friday or Saturday. Cybervisits on skype (id: crismerritt) are very welcome!
Frips

Did I mention we have a new cat? His name is Fripouille (did I get that right?), but you can call him “Frips”. We had just resolved to look for a cat, when he followed Daphne home from school and adopted us. Coincidence?
He’s a good one. Du cru.

I checked into the hospital this afternoon for my ACL op. Operation is scheduled for tomorrow at 8:00. My room has wireless Internet access, of course. So watch this space.
